This plugin removes the version identifiers from your blog to aid in securing wordpress.

As we all know wordpress is in itself one huge security issue but since it is still so common we have decided to release this very basic plugin that removes the generator meta tag from displaying in your blogs source so when those pesky robots come through trying to find vulnerable wordpress installs you may buy yourself a few extra weeks or more since your install will not just spit the version right out for the hackers.

Just maybe Wordpress will get it right in their next release and stop with this non-sense. There is nothing at all like branding your cattle for slaughter now is there?.
